ASSURANCE & REQUESTS

Romans 15:29-33 (KJV)

²⁹ And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. ³⁰ Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; ³¹ That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints; ³² That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. ³³ Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Romans 15:29-33 (CEB)

²⁹ And I know that when I come to you I will come with the fullest blessing of Christ. ³⁰ Brothers and sisters, I urge you, through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggles in your prayers to God for me. ³¹ Pray that I will be rescued from the people in Judea who don’t believe. Also, pray that my service for Jerusalem will be acceptable to God’s people there ³² so that I can come to you with joy by God’s will and be reenergized with your company.³³ May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Ø  First: they would join him in his prayers

Ø  2^nd: specifically praying for deliverance from Judean non-believers

Ø  3^rd: that the offering (his service) would be accepted by Judean believers

Ø  4^th: so he could come to them and be refreshed by them
